Why Sustainable Cashmere?
AVSF is acting in Mongolia since 2004, initially supporting animal health and progressively shifting to sustainable livestock product value chain development. After a first successful experience in developing a yak down value chain, with the support of SWITCH-Asia Grants Programme, AVSF has initiated its Sustainable Cashmere Programme in 2013, the first of its kind worldwide.
