On 28th April 2022, Business Meridian Consulting LLC agreed with Development Solutions NGO, to conduct an in-depth assessment within the framework of the EU SWITCH-Asia project “Switching on the Green Economy”. The research work in Ulaanbaatar and Erdenet city and Selenge, and Umnugovi provinces consists of the following five main parts: current situation of the Agri-food and beverage sector, potential of the sector, circular economy practices, value chain, International circular economy best practices. The assessment has identified sub-sectors with higher priority and the most significant value chains and developed structured guidance and recommendations according to the results of the assessment.
