Implementation of circular economy principles in the tourism sector of Kyrgyzstan with a focus on the food component is a strategically important area for achieving sustainable, inclusive, and climate- resilient development of the country. This study combines an analysis of current policies, interviews with key stakeholders, and a foresight workshop on development of scenarios to identify both barriers and opportunities for transitioning to a circular model.
