SWITCH in a nutshell

Welcome from the SWITCH-Asia team! The aim of the SWITCH-Asia Programme is to promote Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in Asia. To achieve this objective, the programme works simultaneously on the ground with projects that target producers and consumers as well as with policy makers. The SWITCH-Asia Network Facility

The SWITCH-Asia Network Facility is set up withing the SWITCH-Asia programme to maximise its impact by effective knowledge Sharing and dissemination, and networking. The Network Facility organises networking events and prepares case studies. It distils knowledge of project practices and promote effective replication. Find out more.

Outreach

The SWITCH-Asia Networking Facility organizes and attends events to promote SCP and the programme. Read reports from UN-CSD 18, UN-CSD 19, ETAP, APRSCP 2010 , APRSCP 2011, ADFIAP Annual Conference 2012 or the ERSCP 2012.

Networking Events

Networking events in Kuala Lumpur (2009), Beijing (2010), Colombo, Beijing and Jakarta (2011) and Bangkok (2012) have shown productive results and created synergies among projects and stakeholders. Check out the event pages for resources and presentations.

Up-scaling Studies

The Network Facility investigates the opportunities for up-scaling of SCP practices. Get insights into leverages points such as supply chain management, linking to policy makers, enabling access to finance, engaging service providers or promoting ethical consumption.
