The ASEAN-EU Sustainability Summit 2026 is a premier regional platform designed to catalyse bold, cross-sectoral action towards Southeast Asia's green and inclusive transition. Taking place on 7 May 2026, the inaugural Summit is held as an official side event of the 48th ASEAN Leaders' Summit in Cebu, Philippines, bringing together public and private sector leaders from across ASEAN and Europe.
Over 200 senior representatives from government, business, development institutions and civil society are expected to attend, with key personalities invited to speak on issues such as the circular economy, sustainable trade and supply chains, sustainable agriculture, ESG leadership, and ASEAN-EU green cooperation. With high-level participation from major regional players, the Summit will serve as a crucial convening point and launchpad for collaborative initiatives and scalable solutions.
This event is jointly organised by the EU-ASEAN Business Council and the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and endorsed by the Philippines' Department of Trade and Industry under the auspices of the Philippines' 2026 ASEAN Chairship. It is fully private sector-funded, supported by Boehringer Ingelheim, Coca-Cola ASEAN & South Pacific, PMI and ACCA Global.
