This Policy Output Paper is a result of a policy roundtable organised by the National Association of Small and Medium Business of the Republic of Tajikistan (NASMB RT) and adelphi research gGmbH as a part of the EU SWITCH-Asia programme funded project Resource Efficiency in Agri-food Production and Processing (REAP). This report details out 4 policy mechanisms that have been discussed and designed by participants of the national policy prototyping roundtable on strengthening the SCP uptake in Tajik MSMEs. The participants of this policy roundtable include policy makers, industry associations, public sector organizations, and academia. Four policy mechanisms explained in this paper are: 1. Training of RECP Technical Consultants 2. Creation of Credit Unions for MSMEs on resource efficiency 3. National Action Plan on SCP with emphasis on Awareness Raising and 4. Establishment of SCP Centres .
