
The SWITCH-Asia Network Facility published a leaflet on Sustainable Consumption. It provides guidance to the policy-makers concerning the essences and benefits of having a ‘consumption perspective. Moreover, the leaflet highlights few major challenges of motivating a switch to greener and ethical products. For example, consumers are often confused about what constitutes a sustainable product or consumers are increasingly sceptical about ethical claims.
The leaflet provide suggestion for potential policy interventions. Additionally the leaflet provides case stories on consumptions approaches in the SWITCH-Asia Programme and beyond.
