More than 150 participants joined the 5th SWITCH-Asia Networking Events. Guest included SCP practioners from all 4 batches of grant projects, experts from the SWITCH-Asia policy support projects and EU delegation officials from 8 countries. The objective of the meeting is to engage projects in exchange of lessons learnt, to take stock of project results, and establish new synergies for scaling-up project activities.
BIG Bazaar: This year’s event introduced the SWITCH-Asia Bazaar Online - a new virtual tool for all project partners. The Bazaar Online offers an opportunity to connect and share common tools and activities within funded SWITCH-Asia projects. The virtual Bazaar includes a trading mechanism, where commodities can be exchanged between projects, and thereby reduce the time needed to develop the same tools and materials over and over again, and instead release more time for direct project implementation.
Thematic Session: A selection of parallel workshops were hosted on thematic topics. Topics included Effective training approaches, Appropriate technologies, Quantification of impact – carbon footprint, SCP indicators, Green retail, and Inclusive business and rural sourcing.
Communication Lab: To communicate the benefit of SCP, strategic communication, effective communication skills and messaging are needed. The Communication Lab offers a varity of insights, skill building exercises and discussions.
