SWITCH-Asia Networking Meetings

Each year the Network Facility will be organising a Networking Meeting for SWITCH-Asia. Sharing of experiences and good synergies among the funded projects are important to improve the quality of implemented project activities and to scale-up good project results. The meetings will also seek to facilitate interaction with other donors in the region and national policy-makers who can use the good results to reinforce their environmental legislation and support of sustainable development in Asia and Europe.

The First SWITCH-Asia Networking Meeting was held on 3-5 June, 2009, in Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia. The detailed information is available here. 

The second Networking Meeting of all SWITCH-Asia projects took place in October. The two and a half day meeting was held from 12 to 14 October in Beijing. For more information on the 2nd Networking Event click here.

In 2011, the SWITCH-Asia programme held three sub-regional events in Colombo, Beijing, and Jakarta.
