SWITCH products at European Development Days - Registration is now open!

We are happy to announce that at this year's EDD you will have the chance to directly meet artisans associated to the EU SWITCH projects and see a great selection of crafted products from Asian, African and MENA region Micro-, Small and Medium sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Are you interested in sustainable products to round up the sustainability portfolio of your company? Do you want to offer your guests or conference participants a special give-away that has been produced in a fair and sustainable way? Would you like to support SMEs and/or marginalised social groups in Asian developing countries that use cleaner production and socially sustainable processes? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then register for the EDD and visit our booth in the Global Village and in our project lab!

The Network Facilities of the EU SWITCH programmes in Asia, Africa and the MENA region, plus the SWITCH-to-Green Facility will showcase products and services created by MSMEs and communities with support from SWITCH projects promoting sustainable consumption and production. Projects will present products and services with increased sustainability, on which the artisans' and their families' livelihood rests, ranging from handcrafted textiles and rattan furniture of outstanding design to delicious food products. To increase interactivity with the visitors, women artisans will provide a live demonstration of the traditional crafting of selected products and answer questions on the sustainability of production.
