Starting from the first of September 2013, the SWITCH-Asia Network Facility is jointly implemented by the GFA Consulting Group and the Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP).
The new consortium is led by the development cooperation consultancy GFA that is known for its more than 30 years of experience with hundreds of development and cooperation projects worldwide. Based in Hamburg (Germany), to date GFA has been implementing more than 60 projects in 13 Asian countries on all the themes covered by the SWITCH-Asia Programme.
Already a partner in the implementation of the previous Network Facility, CSCP continues to provide the SWITCH-Asia Programme with its established experience in sustainability and specifically SCP. Located in Wuppertal (Germany), CSCP is a non-profit Ltd. jointly founded by the Wuppertal Institute and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 2005 to establish an internationally visible institution for scientific research, outreach and transfer activities on SCP.
