Strong interest in SWITCH-Asia Event: “Engaging Business in SCP”

Around 400 people gathered at the Hilton Colombo for the APRSCP Conference from 10th to 12th of June 2010. More than 120 attended the SWITCH-Asia session. Experts together with policy makers and practitioners from Sri Lanka and from all over Asia, have been taken part at this cross-learning opportunity. With success, the SWITCH-Asia programme has disseminated the progress of the ongoing studies on the replication mechanism of the SWITCH-Asia projects.
Replication is an important step for SCP, but also for the development work and projects whereas without this mechanism only small entities change. In other words, at a large scale, without replication the situation stays the same. To illustrate project practices, 6 SWITCH-Asia projects presented their activities and approaches.
