About us

The SWITCH-Asia Network Facility is hosted by the CSCP. CSCP was established in 2005 as a joint initiative between the United Nations Environment Programme and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy , as a not-for-profit “think” and “do” tank. The centre comprises international experts from diverse backgrounds including economics, policy-making, engineering, environment, and social sciences. It has accumulated significant experience in policy development, scientific research, business management, and advocacy in various social and cultural contexts.

Mr. Michael Kuhndt is the head of the CSCP and in charge of managing the CSCP.

Mr. Frans Verspeek is the SCP expert and team leader at the SWITCH-Asia Network Facility.

Ms. Burcu Tunçer is the SCP and communication expert at the SWITCH-Asia Network Facility.

The Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy is in the consortium with CSCP for implementing the SWITCH Asia Network Facility. The Wuppertal Institute was established in 1991 and since then has been exploring and developing models, strategies and instruments to support sustainable development at local, national and international level.
